Along with taking Homoeopathic medicine, just do follow these steps for fast recovery of patient-
  1. Start ORS after patient has vomited 2-3 times. ORS contain electrolytes and salts that are depleted from body because of vomiting. Consumption of ORS restores them.
  2. Do not give any citrus juice like orange or lemon based juice to vomiting patient. They will cause more acidity. Instead give banana to patient that will be milder on mucous membrane of stomach weakened by vomiting.
  3. If patient has been vomiting for more than 1 day, even after taking medicine; then consult your Doctor.
  4. If patient vomits black coloured vomiting; then consult your Doctor because that is sign of some grave diseases like cancer occurring inside body.
  5. First give ORS to patient after vomiting as said above. After some gap you can give a pudina (mint) extract or pudina (mint) tea to patient. After that at gap of 1 hour you can give banana to patient. Then after gap of 1-2 hour you can give khichdi to patient. You can also give glucose-D water to patient in small sips if patient is vomiting everything consumed.
  6. Also do check temperature of patient’s body periodically with thermometer. This is because some time fever or hypothermia occurs if patient is consistently vomiting for more than 1 day and nothing stays in stomach neither liquid nor solid. If everything that is consumed is vomited that can alter body temperature. If fever or hypothermia occurs with vomiting, then that requires medication.
