Structural made up of, functional habits of, mode of living of both animals and humans are so different.
It is found that the aliments which get cured by medicine given to animals, the same medicine if given to humans can cause hazardous effects making them near to death.

Why medicines which are tested on animals, fails in case of human aliments?

  • Why it causes hazardous effects in humans? This is because of their structural organization, which are different among them, even they have differences in the way their structural system functions. This is one disadvantage of using animal tested medicines.
  • Second disadvantage is, drug test record is not complete in animal tested medicines. Because only objective symptoms and signs can be recorded in them, but subjective symptoms which drug produce in them cannot be recoded; because animals cannot speak in human language regarding their subjective symptoms. So, without the subjective symptoms drug record is incomplete.
