First of all, what is called Eczema? Eczema is condition of skin, in which red patches or eruptions occur on skin. These red areas itch, whether they are in patches form or in eruption form. First there occurs dryness, which gives birth to white dry scaly (flaky) patches. They itch, after itching these white patches take colour of red patches. Types of Eczema-

Eczema is also known with name of dermatitis. It is of following types-

1) Atopic dermatitis/eczema-
It is in born, means pass on baby from parents in genes. That is, it is genetically inherited. The basic cause of this eczema is dryness. Because of which too much itching occurs, in this type of eczema. This type of eczema occurs on whole body, but occurs more in joints area of body.

2) Contact dermatitis/Eczema-
This type of eczema occurs due to, allergy from coming in contact of certain substances. If you don’t come in contact of those allergic substances, then this eczema can be prevented.

  • For example, certain people have allergy from rubber. Then it will cause contact dermatitis after wearing footwear made from rubber. 
  • Certain people have allergy from cement. They will have contact dermatitis, after coming in contact with cement. 
  • Similarly, certain people, have allergy from artificial jewellery. They will have eczema localised in area where jewellery was worn. For example, if you wore it in wrist then it will cause eczema only there. 
  • Contact dermatitis is localised eczema. It occurs on that body area, which comes in contact with allergic substance.


3) Dry eczema-
Dry eczema is that in which itching occurs in excessively dry white patchy area of body. After itching, they take shape of red eruptions or patches. After doing excess scratching, from these itching areas exudate red pinhead size bleeding.

4) Wet eczema-
It is that type of eczema in which, sticky fluid oozes from eruptions that you scratch. On scratching due to itching, sometimes eruptions oozes less fluid, sometimes excess. Where this sticky fluid spread on skin, it spread wet eczema there.

1) Natrum Muriaticum-
